Scan cd is a free software tool for checking your CD disks for unreadable files. This software application is easy too instal, easy to use and has a friendly user interface. Scan cd is a very useful product because it allows you to keep track of the non working cd's.
This program doesn't do anything but opens and closes the CD tray. When you run the Scan function, the status indicator moves, but the disc is not actually being scanned. The CD drive light is not even flashing. I scanned a known bad disc and the program did not detect it.Not sure what the actual purpose of this program is, but right now it is totally worthless.
